HGH use and Ligament/Tendon damage

I know from my research that HGH is supposed to repair ligament and tendon damage. If this is the case, why do so many top level bodybuilders, who definitely use HGH, have pec ruptures (Kevin Levrone), bicep tears (Dorian Yates), just to name a few?

maybe because thier body runs on 2000-5000mg test per week and many other types of stress that comes with the sport..
