    prostrate cancer and HGH

I searched this thread and found several general post regarding HGH causing malignancies to mestastasize in general. My Dad in his 60's has been lifting for about ten years, has been on chemo for about nine years and has had two surgiacal removals of growth associated with prostrate cancer and is interested in trying HGH for an increase in muscle size but has found little information and a lot of resistance when asking his docs about this subject. Has anyone had any experience in this area? Thanks in advance for any help!

I assume they have him on Proscar? GH, IGF and all growth factors will speed up division of cancer cells. So if he's had 2 surgeries to remove growths, I wouldn't think GH would be a good idea. I would have him check with a endocrinoligist and his primary doc before starting anything that has to do with his HPTA. AAS, GH or anything.

Thanks SJ! He is on Proscar, and has seen two primaries, but not an endocrinologist. I appreciate the advice, and relay your info.
