    reusing slin pin???

    i just ran out of pins today, i ordered mine like a week ago, but they're not here yet, anyways can i use a slin pin that i've already used. i have 2 -one in the freezer from saturday and 1 in the fridge from yesterday.

    I'd wait it out another day or 2 then risk the chance of an infection........

    I wouldnt do that if i was u. I dont know where u live, but over here slin pins are over the counter.

    Do not risk infection this way!!!Just wait or find a fster source.

    appreciate the advice, i scored some from a pharmacy. most pharmacist here are queers and won't sell 'em without a script for insulin on file.

    That's how it is in CT as well. All states vary but I can't see why they wouldn't want to sell them. They used to sell them in CT and said it was safety issues. Now they dont sell them at all without a script. Go figure....................

    well say he were to steralize the pin... other than dullness would the risk of infection really be an issue?
