"Tanner's Itch" is caused by an increased need of the upper layers of the skin to be exfoliated due to the drying effects of the tanning process. In other words, the skin is screaming for moisture. Tanner’s itch is a common result of overexposure. I would take an oatmeal or a herbal milk bath. (Warm not hot) After taking a bath, I would use a moistener without any form of mineral oils in it. I would not tan until the itching stops. If the itching didn’t stop with in 3 days I would call my doctor. you might even think about taking some benadryl...if a recurring issue...but just a mild irritant...you might want to get your hands on some panthenol.

Use a tan accelerator to help boost the tanning process. Keeps the skin well moisturised too. I use products from Australian Gold and i find them excellent.

dont go back before your ichtes stop. Use special tanning cream to moisturize your skin before tanning. Most people dont use nothing while tanning but put moisturizer afterwards. Thats wrong, you gotta keep your skin moist at all time, in the tanning and after...

I really like a company called Fiji Blend. They have an excellerator called Possess that has heat activated moisturizers. Another good one by them is called Velvet Nights which contains Black Truffle Oil, and Black Caviar from the Caspean Sea. These are very goood products for moisturizing.

I personaly like the john abate line the platnium zero with the tingle four helps mostorise and is one of the most potent acceloraters. Word of caution with using an accelorate like this one is drop 2 or even 3 min otherwise youll just end up burning. btw what did you tan in? just thought it also might help me to detirmen how long you should go in for lol.
