    One after another...

I've been in therapy for the past few weeks for a torn muscle (at least I thinkn it is) in my forearm. this has kept me from performing an array of movements, especially with biceps.

I was doing shoulders (lateral raises) and felt a pull or a tear in my trap and it hurts like hell. i can barely move my neck or twist my head. i've had ice on it the past few days; any other advise? should i continue to ice it or should i start putting heat on it? i hate injuries.

ice only! no heat 20 minutes every 2 hour you are a awake. you can also use motrin 800mg 3 times a day to decreae the inflamation, electric stim or a tens unit will help subside the pain and relax the spasm , also use bio freeze or icy hot for relief thriughout the day. remember the ice is the most important, don't neglect this.

yes, there is! I'm not fully recovered by any means, but i took a couple weeks off from anything hard core, continued therapy and bought a professional massage instrament that i use on it ed. i went in yesterday and tested it out a little but i still felt pain so i don't want to push it.

hey thanks for checking on me.
