Broke Arm and no med insurance

I broke my arm last week and I dont have med insurance. So I havent gone to the Doc to get a cast on it. It doesn't look deformed or anything so I just wrapped it with an ACE bandage and I am using a sling. I am a little worried though because I dont have full movement of my hand. I can only close my hand about half way. Is that normal to not be able to close my hand with a forearm break? And how long before I should start lifting again? I was 2 weeks into my 8 week cycle when this happened.

this is an easy one,NO ITS NOT NORMAL TO ONLY BE ABLE TO CLOSE YOUR HAND HALF WAY!!!! when can you lift again?!?!?!! what the hellkind of question is that??? the answer is not until you are fully healed and after you get an xray and a cast. pay the piper and buck up, you need to see an ortho an ace bandage is not going to cut it.
