    A good cutting routine?

Switching over from bulking with just 4 or 5 compound lifts every other day.

How is this for a workout plan while cutting:
    (everything 3x10)
    Day A
    Bench
    Pulldown
    Shoulder Press
    Cable fly
    Bent over Rows
    Hammer Curls
    Side bridges

    Day B
    Squats
    Shrugs
    Deadlift
    Calf Press
Incline Leg Press (not what your thinking, I don't know what its called, just another glute workout)
    Ab work

I will be alternating day A and B every other day. Anything that I should add or change? Also I will be consuming about 2500 calories a day, with my daily requirement being about 2700. Cardio has already been factored into the equation but not listed.

They aren't in exact order, so I give myself some time to rest. Plus it help that I have been in manual labor for the past 10 years and snowboarding/hiking once or twice a week for the past 3 years so I naturally am accustomed to it.

If you are truly concerned about cutting I would focus on the dieting end of things. Your workout schedule has very very little to do with getting lean.

Yes sir, you are right. Workout routines have nothing to do with cutting. When I got my bodyfat down to 3%, the only thing changed was my diet. I have won several titles. I hate to hear the old, do plenty of reps with the weights and get cut. That's like doing Cardio with weights. Cardiovascular exercise cuts body fat. Hard weight training BUILDS MUSCLE.

Thank you for mentioning this fireguy.

SO MANY people have this huge misconception that lighter weights for higher reps will get you cut...if anything it will just make you smaller.

Diet and cardio will get you lean. You should lift heavy weights year round, regardless of bulking or cutting. Ofcourse if you're cutting your calories (carbs in particular) will be much lower and therefore you won't be able to lift as much, but the word "heavy" is relative
