Time to bulk
Honestly diddnt know where to put this.
Well its winter again and afer loosing quite alot of bf over the summer i decided that i really need alot more size. I have been sitting around 180 for almost 6 months.
I weighed in last tuesday @181 before brekkie.
This week (tues) im up to 186 before brekkie.
Hoping to break 190 in the next 3 weeks.
Diet has always been a major problem for me, i just cant seem to stick to one very easily, skipping meals etc has been my downfall. Well im being regimantal about it at the moment and it seems to be paying off.
My average daily calories range between 3800 and 4500.
Having just fully recovered from my back injury im squatting and deadlifting again, so i expect i should hit 190 pretty easily.
I will update once a week. Hopefully by putting this up i will be even more motivated to go to the gym and not be a lazy fvcker.

meal 7: cottage cheese and 100%whey shake.
I will also consume say 2 cans of fruit blended as a drink somewhere during the day. i know that this isnt sufficent for my fruits and veggie intake

ehhh you might want to start adding fats or carbs to the meals with just proteins bro. Maybe a PWO shake w/ dextrose and maltodextrin too, the most important meal of the day!

OK its the end of week three, After a demoralising weigh in last week im now up 2 lbs and sitting at 187lbs. So thats a 6lb gain overall. Not bad. I think i must be in a growth phase at the moment as im sleeping alot more and falling asleep easier. My left arm has got some serious stretch marks on it now, its grown about 2/8ths of an inch since i last measured it (longer then 3 weeks ago) and is bigger then my right now.
I havent got any calipers to judge my bf%, but i dont think it has increaced at all. My face always ballons with any bf increace and it looks the same. My waist is the same, im wearing my belt on the same notch and its no tighter. Apart from always feeling full i have been feeling a little better overall.

Well as i understand it, you try to eat every 2-3 hours to keep your body always fed. While you sleep thats 8+ hours where your body is not getting fed. Its also the time in which it will grow, produce natural test etc. By eating a slow digesting protein like cottage cheese my body will have a food source to use instantly for energy etc, making sure there is no catabolism occuring while i sleep. Or so i believe.

End of week 4 and im sitting comfortably at 187. It seems this is somewhat of a natural plateau for me. Ive been this weight before (altho never as lean). It seems that my body doesnt really want to be much heavier. Well im going to start including a cardio session once a week now and maintain bulking. I would like to see how big i can get by christmas. But im not allowing myself to get fat. Once my face gets bloated i will begin to increace my cardio. But having not done cardio for 2 years im thinking once a week will be more then sufficent.

Wow this is my thread and even im bored! No weight gain this week. But considering i ran out of protein powder, go a throat infection and also started cardio i guess it could be worse. I feel and look a little leaner so thats a good thing.
On a separate note i tore my workout trousers from the groin to the top of the arse. Now i gotta buy me some new trousers!

End of week 6 (a day late)
Im up to 188lbs now which is nice for psychological reasons if nothing else. I stopped eating so clean last week and had a bit of a dirty bulk. Going to return to clean eating now. Im going to bulk for the next three weeks then reasess my training, diet etc. 10 weeks will be a good number to stop on, hopefully i should be able to reach 190, fingers crossed.
I measured my quads yesterday. before i started to bulk (while i was still injured) my quads shrunk to under 25", there now 25 and 6/8ths which is good.
