1gr of Fat= 9 Calories
1000gr of Fat(1Kg)= 9000 Calories
It's that simple
What type of cardio do you do?
For example Running at 7.5mph burns 900cal/h
Cycling at 10mph burns 360-420cal/h.
both of you are wrong and right,:
there is 2500 kcals in 1 lb of fat, now divide that by the common 2.2086
metric conversion and you got 1131 kcals of fat per kilo.
even if you do your 30 min cardio and say burn 300 calories you should still decrease your caloric intake by 1000 cals
(and yes but there are 9cals per gram of fat not applicable though)
anyway your protien intake is to high, fat comes from an abundunce of any one nutrient, hence low carb diets.

One g of fat is 9.1 kcal (what you call calories), so on kilo of fat would be 9100 kcal. But fortunately fat tissue consists also of water, so actually one kilo of fat tissue has avout 7000-7700 kcal.

OK, things seem to be getting a little out of control here. Let's look at this rationally:
"To lose one pound of fat, you need to burn about 3,500 calories, either by burning more through exercise or reducing how many calories you eat," explains Kristine Clark, Ph.D., R.D., nutritionist at the Center for Sports Medicine at Penn State University.
I look at no less than 20 different web sites to confirm that 3500 calories must be burned to lose one pound of fat--with no web site that I found contradicting that amount. I chose the above quote becasue it was provided by a repsected scientist in the fiesl--so I think we can take that as fact.
One kilos = 2.2lbs, thus, to burn 1 kilo of fat, you must burn:
3500 calories/lb of fat * 2.2 kilos/lb = 7700 calories per kilos kilo of fat.
In summary: you must burn 7700 calories to lose one kilo of fat. If you want to dispute that, have some research to back up your opinion!

You are right, i had my conversion factors ass backwards. sorry for the fuck up. i was using 1lb=2.2kg instead of 1kg=2.2lb.

That's what I wrote above.. I think you're right, but your formulation is incorrect. You mean a kilo of fat tissue and not a kilo of fat.
