    8 Wk Anavar Run

    Cycle as planned:

    Weeks 1-3.......40mg -20 morn / 20 afternoon
    Weeks 4-6.......50mg

    This is my 2nd cycle. Right now I'm limited to just orals. Waited 1 month since my 33day Dbol cycle. Not looking to put on alot of mass, just get cut up and strong.

    My routine is thus: 3-4 days a week

    Am - 1hr walking (3mi. to gym and back)

    1hr stationary bike, med. intensity

    Pm - 1hr walking

    1hr hittin the weights (full body workouts at first, then 2 part split)

    My diet will be eating clean to trim down. I don't want to loose to much weight, mainly inches around waist whilst putting on muscle. This is the first time I've attempted to hit the gym twice in a day. I've been dissatisfied with results the past year so i'm gonna give it more effort and see what comes of it.

    After 4 solid mo. without a break I took last mo. off to do cardio 4 times a week to trim down and build up endurance. It's been a real slow process.

    Stats:

    48yr

    6'1, 186lbs

    37" waist

    2-3000 cal/day

    I had to log all this for a reference. I felt good today even though my strength was lacking. I know the var hasn't kicked in yet but I feel a slight sense of well being from it. Using up 1000mg of fire breathers before switching it up. (tp).

    I'm going all out for the next 6 weeks knowing that afterwards I can tone it down a bit during pct.

    Pct will be Nolva and Clomid as they worked good for me after a D-bol cycle I ran awhile back. Only this time I'll be running Clen during pct. I respond good to that compound.

    2scoop/Protien shake w/yogurt: 540 cal

    Lunch:

    Smoked Salmon w/2 slices bread: 700 cal

    Getting some rest before heading back to the gym. I worked out lite yesterday so I'm going for it again today. Gonna try out some new lifts. I feel good. Was a little sore this morning but feel limber now.

    Hah... Yeah I know. My problems started when I ran dbol w/o an AI and blew up around the midsection 3"! I still have 2" more to loose to get back to 35" waist where I was before!

    Mind you that is not my pant size but center of waist at bel button.

    Both Mother and Father predisposed to bulging bellys on a small frame. So genetics has cursed me somewhat.

    I'm just beginning to count calories again just to make sure I'm not over doing it but also getting enough to support my muscle. I don't take much to gain, and when i do gain it goes mostly to the center and not evenly.

    Still experimenting with diet but will keep posting as I structure the days meals.

    General rule is to eat balanced meals to slow absorbtion of calories.

    To eat larger calorie meals earlier in the day, and lower calorie meals later in the day.

    To eat up untill 7:00 pm then stop, retiring around 10:00pm or so.

    To eat a bit heavier on training days and a bit lighter on off days.

    Took today off from the gym. Here is my diet log for today. These records are meticulous. I will not be spending this much time figuring my diet every day. I just want to get a sense of where I'm at, and of course to give you all a chance to comment on it as well.

    I am not competing, but I do wish to get body fat down as much as I can over the next 6wks. I'm going for a lean hard look and could do without the excess fat. Granted this cycle is just the begining cause 6wks ain't enough time to get me where I wana be, but it's a start.

    Well I came on this board cause I wana improve myself. I aint proud of these shots but her I go...

    6'1, 189.5 lbs, 37"waist (around bel buton), 14%bf last time i checked. I can't believe that gut I have LOL!

    And I been lifing hard the past 3yrs! Eating clean to bulk up, but looks like the only thing I gained was a spare tire!

    I just decided to go for the thin and trim look cause gettin big (say 200+lbs) just aint happening 4 me.

    A 34" waist would be nice. Lets see what 6wks can do...

    hey man lookin at your pics you dont look so bad..better than any dude your age that goes to my gym theres definately some muscle on ya..good luck with your cycle and diet, but why such low calories? 1800!? you should be eating more regardless of what your goals are man...hell i tried dieting one time on 2200 calories and i whithered way..i was about 205 at the time.

    Thanks for the words of encouragement tank.

    Yeah I'm watching closely to make sure I don't start withering away, but I gotta say I really don't need that many calories to maintain my weight these days.

    Also I think the var might be reducing my appetite just a little. As the days progress and I start bumping up my routine at the gym, for sure I'll be eating alot more accordingly.

    2nd Week

    Wheew... if ya know what I mean. Well it's back to buisiness and the reason why I'm here.

    After last 2 days off it's back for another week of four 2day/ split routines for as long as I can hold out.

    Weighed in at:
    190lb

    Waist:
    36.5"

    Am routine:

    1hr walking

    1hr Stationary Bike - low intensity

    Lost 1/2" of waist size. Horray! I am quite surprized I have been holding at the same weight for the last week, especially since my calories have been so lite, combined with all the cardio and lifting I've been doing.

    So I'm making a few adjustments to my program.

    Been reading how estrogen can be related to fat deposits in the midsection so I'm taking .3mg of Liquidex aday to see if it helps me out.

    Bumping up var to 50mg aday. I think these firebreathers might be a bit weak.

    Friday will be time to start my 2 weeks on of Clen again. I'm hoping for some good results. Just got off of 4weeks T-4 @ 225mcg aday with zero results, oh well.

    I bumped up the var to 60mg aday. I wanted to make it last for 2 cycles but I'm finding it's pretty weak so it's best to bump it up till it's effective.

    Tommorow I'm running clen for the next 2weeks. This is a cutting cycle for me and amazingly I'm still holding at 190lbs even though I'm working out hard and eating lite and clean. So I must be puttin on muscle cause my waist is going down but I'm not losing any pounds.

    No Neg Side effects whatsoever. I Dropped 4lb and 1/4" waist. I have to Lift in the morning now before taking my clen dose because it greatly hinders my workout. I want to up intensity so I cut out cardio for now. It seems like I'm burning more cals now that I cut the cardio out and just Lifting harder!

    Today I upped the Var to 70mg day. 40 morn and 30 early afternoon. Nothing much to report today. This stuff is real mild. But I am accomplishing something. Weight 187.5lb Waist 35.75"

    Next time I do a cycle it will be with Test. I've already got it lined up for the winter. I'll save the rest of the var later for combining with the Test.
    I'l also save the Winny I was gonna do solo for another time to use with test as i fell at this point it would just be a waste on it's own.

    I mean doing orals only is better than any "supplements" that are out there, but I see what everybody is talking about when they say orals are a "complement" to a cycle. But I still have about 3 more weeks to go.

    Thanks Jamie. O.K. Update. After doing some more reading I found that some guys found 100mg to be a sweet spot . After careful consideration and thinking maybe the stuff I got is seriously underdosed, my cycle has been revised:

    100mg a day anavar

    40mg Morning

    30mg Noon

    30mg Early Eve

    This will deplete all of my Var supply but what the hell, I'm never gonna order any more so no point in trying to save some for another time, I'm just gonna give it all I got for the next 3 weeks and see where it takes me.

    Well I've been at this for 3 weeks now and not noticing too much. I mean my arms sort of look alittle more pumped than normal. Also not noticing a great deal of strength from it either, no more than normal anyway. We'll see after a few more days at 100mg

    Well today is my 2nd day @ 100mg and I'm starting to get a little more hopeful. Strength was up a bit at the gym today. I am starting to notice that my body is taking on a nice shape. This prolly has more to do with my diet than anything else. I'm trying not to get too impatient with results because I believe that in due time as I put one foot in front of the other and stay focused, that all my hard work will pay off.

    Coming along nicely at 100mg a day. I believe I hit the right dose. Nearing the end of the 4th week. Taking the next 2 days off while visiting with a friend.

    As I look in the mirror I'm starting to notice some good muscle definition. Weight holding steady at 189lbs.

    5th Week underway

    That Leg w/o last Friday really took it out of me. What is it about legs that make recovery so difficult?

    4 days off and made an improvement. Decided to try the Captains word on grapefruit juice improving the effectiveness of the var. It's still too early to tell as I've been consumming the juice for the past few days only.

    But... I'm noticing alot more of a pump throught the day, so much so that I cut back my dose from 100mg to 70mg aday.

    It's been 5 weeks thus far and I think this cycle is starting to kick in a bit more than before. I'll be running this till pills are finished, however much longer that will be.

    I have the feeling that it's accumulative, ie: the longer I'm on the better it gets (within reason of course). So if it goes an extra week or so I think the benefit will be much better.

    I have a friend that's on Seroquel. His Doc. told him not to be drinking grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits either cause it fvcks with the medication. I did'nt know that it increases the potency though till I read the Captains post on it a few days ago. Since then I've read another article on it and now I've become a lab rat on the subject, LOL!!!
