Summer Test E & Mast cycle

I'm 1 full week into a cycle of 350mg of test e and will be adding 500 mg of mast next monday. I plan on going test weeks 1-10 and mast 3-10. My BF is fairly low to start and I will be posting pictures later tonight of where I am at.

I know it's a bit early but I could feel the test just starting to kick in today during my back/biceps lift. Every lift was up at least 15% in terms of weight and I crushed the lift for 2 hours and 45 minutes. 1 minute rest intervals so it's not like I was taking long rests either.

Has anyone experienced test e or c kicking in this early? Not that I'm complaining by any means just curious. I will be keeping this thread going throughout the next 9 weeks to track my progress.

Just to clarify, my off cycle lifts typically last around an hour and 45 minutes. Also, my split looks like this:

    Monday-Legs, calves
    Tuesday-Back, biceps, abs
    Wednesday-chest, triceps, obliques
    Thursday-Shoulders, Traps, forearms, calves, abs
    Friday- back maintenance, biceps, obliques
    Saturday-chest maintenance, triceps, abs
    Sunday-shoulders, obliques

It's just mental at this point (one week) but so what, it's all good.
Nobody needs to be lifting for 2hrs 45 minutes or even an hr and 45.

Take some time and start reading Marcus's Diary in the Lounge for some modern training tips, motivation and all around fun. Start from the beginning and read it all. It'll take a while but will be worth your time and effort.

if you don't mind me asking, why is that too much? I know a few guys that compete nationally and they lift upwards of 3 hours/day. If the endurance is there, why not take advantage of it? That's what I did my first cycle and I had great results. As soon as I start to feel the pump go away I stop.

Anyone lifting 3 hrs a day is probably spending as much time BS'ing as they are lifting. Think about it. How much time are you wasting while working out that long? How long are you spending between sets? My only point is that it's not how long your in the gym that matters, its the intensity of effort. You grow at home while resting and feeding. More is not necessarily better. Get your lifting done and go have fun doing something else.

I'll be posting these before pictures tomorrow. Just been really busy these last couple days. Had a great chest and tri workout today.

    DB fly 4 sets
    Bench 2 warm 5 working
Incline Dumb bell bench 5 working
    Cable pec fly 5 working
    Decline machine press 6 working
Push ups 5 sets to failure (average 5 reps)
Skull crusher superset with DB skullcrusher- 4 sets of each
    Straight bar push down-5 sets

I did some stuff for abs at the end. Great pump and really pushed myself. Feeling very aggressive lately but I'm a pretty aggressive person naturally. Sex drive is through the roof my girl has been even happier than normal ?

Sorry but if your training for 2.45. Your not training hard enough. Your work out should be no more then a hour. After that it's pointless. Your body would be eating itself after that long.

Worry about yourself. No need to question the intensity of someone elses workout. I said I was working hard. Drenched in sweat. My work out today was about an hour and 45 minutes.

I work out until I feel I am no longer being effective. Like I said once I lose the pump I stop. But if your muscles are still pumped and you have food to eat there is no reason to stop. I sleep 8+ hours per night and have a very clean diet. Energy and endurance have never been an issue for me.

Dago I know you don't want to hear it but aussie's correct. Over time you'll change. We all go through phases such as this.

Hit delts and traps today with some forearms and obliques at the end. Delts took about 45 minutes, traps took about 15, forearms took 10, obliques took 15. A total of an hour and 25 minutes. I hope you all are pleased....moderation!

I'll give you an example. I do Chest, Bi's and Tri's together. I'm done in an hour or less.
Increase the intensity, shorten the rest periods and you'll see more progress.
Head over to Marcus's Diary like I suggested previously and start reading. May be enlightening for you.

    And yes, that's progress!

How many reps are you doing aswell? I seen your doing way to many working sets. So my guess is, your no where near lifting to your max weight. And therefore not burning yourself out, allowing you to train for so long. Example of me. For chest. I only do dumbbell bench, incline and flys. Max db press so far is 132lb a side. After that I'm already tired and then do lighter in other exercises. Lasting 45-hour max.

Today I was going for 8 reps. I did some drop sets and did rest pauses if necessary to get at least 6 reps

Lifted legs for 55 minutes and squatted for the first time in a couple months yesterday. Feeling great and definitely having a less drained feeling today as opposed to when I have longer lifts. Still had a great pump so I'll make the conscious effort to keep them short from now on.

Had another good work out today. Back and biceps feeling solid. Up 4 pounds so far and excited to start the mast next week. Having not used the compound before, I'm interested to see if it can help get me the hard, lean look I'd like to have this summer.

Weighed in at 199.5 today and just as lean as I have been. Started out at 195 this cycle so we'll see what happens. This is middle of week 3 so I'm hoping for some solid gains these next few weeks

How many cycles have you run before and how long have you been training? I agree that there is no need to train for almost 3 hours. I'm done in 1 hour and I just train with a ton of intensity. The only time my workouts are longer is when I'm doing cardio at the end of my workouts. Train with full intensity and shorter rest.

Training hard about 7 years and this is my second cycle. I ran my first cycle in September- 350 mg of test for 10 weeks. I've kept my workouts to an hour lately and have to agree I'm liking them shorter.

I joined this forum to learn and I appreciate all the input you guys provide.
