Thumbs up Why I started training..

My brother Tig was the reason why I started to train.. it was just the 2 of us.

He use to compete... made it the the Canadians 1 yr. He's 5'10 1/2, off season he was 260LBS, competed at like 225- 230LBS, at 4.3% BF

The pic attached was the Ontario Provincials, I think like '99.

He doesn't compete anymore... sits around 215- 220-ish with abs. He still looks huge... just not as freaky. He has incredible symmetry, huge delts and a fly waist.

I think the diet thang, plus my panic disorder have put off for me ever doing a bodybuilding comp, but I really would like to do a powerlifting comp. That I can diet for and handle.

MMGirl, you and Cali are just too sweet to me. Thanks, I needed it today, had a rough weekend. News wasn't good on my business front, I lost a client because of the economy.

    Talking PL...

I have a few friends here that PL. None of them ever really diet. They need their size for their overall strength.

That's one of the joys of PL... NO DIETING...LOL.

If you really want to do PL.. I suggest you do some research on it.

Het there MMGirl, good to see you today

I've trained PL style for about 2 ½ years now. I base my workouts around squats, deadlifts and benching.

I never use a smith machine, I always use the Power Cage if possible. I've trained my bench using chains, etc....the whole nine yards. It's just the fact I need to get the balls to get onto a platform and lift in front of judges, friends and family, that is the scary part !!!
