    1 year natural progress

Former heavy gear user. Had a heart attack at 24 from 2g's of test a week and stopped training cold turkey for several years.

Started cardio last year when I got to Japan and weights in April. Tried Xenadrine NRG and thought it sucked for what I wanted then I realized that with the diet and weights my chances of losing bodyweight were pretty slim.

Anyways the first pic is at 353 pounds. The second most recent is at 315 pounds. Wife thinks I've made great strides but with the pounds not coming off like I had hoped I have my doubts.

2000 calorie a day diet with 300g protein intake.

    Training is like this
Mon - Chest, shoulders, tri's 30 minutes cardio
    Tue - Bi's, traps 30 minutes cardio
Wed - 45 minutes cardio morning and night
Thurs - Chest, Quads 30 minutes cardio
Fri - Hams, calves, back 30 minutes cardio

Stick with it, and things will naturally come. Also, when (and what) are you eating? What are your goals? Do you have everything thought through? If you want an "idiot proof" program check out Bill Phillips "Body for Life". Go to www.bodyforlife.com That is what I followed and lost almost 90lbs in a year. Just keep at whatever it is you are going to do! Good luck!

you have made some good progress there but you might want to up the cal's a bit you should post you diet break down. also what is your b/f % once you know for sure what your lbm is you can adjust your cal intake best. i know that i am about 260 and i have a diet break down of around 2500 to 3500 depending on if i am trying to maintain my current lbm or strip off some fat. bump the cardio to 45 minutes a day if you can do it twice on wed then push it to all week long and try to fit it in in the morning . check out the diet forums here swoll chimes in with his 2 cents which is a gift . just a few thoughts keep up the good work

kind of hard for me to tell the progress from those pics - can you post some full body pics shirt off? That would give us a better idea.

also 2000 calories is WAY too low for a guy your size. It will slow down your metabolism too much which will slow your fat burning. Gradual calorie reduction along with MORNING 45 min low impact cardio 7x a week will be the key to shredding the extra lbs. More fat is oxidized during morning cardio on an empty stomach than at other times.

And being natural lifting 4x a week is too much plus you've got to focus more on the big basic exercises which will put your body in more of an anabolic mode. 3x a week or 2x a week focusing on the basics: squat/deadlift/bench/military press/chins for a year or two with maybe a couple smaller exercises like curls or situps at the end. Avoid the sculpting exercises until your cut down more and are more advanced. The glossy magazines will make you think you need to do them but they're for guys who are putting the finishing touches on a nearly flawless physique - that's not 95% of us.
