i use some calipers but i don't really believe the numbers they are giving me because i see guys who have a higher % and are more defined. i am in a bulking phase so i am retaining a lot of water but i just wanted some peoples opinions on what they think my bf% is by the picture. thanks.

9-11 gets my vote also. I just got underwater tested at 11% and I would say that you are just slightly leaner than I am by 1-2%.
You look lower then 10. Probably 8-9ish.
8 to 12% range would be my guess, but then I'm only guessing, sorry bro.
between 8-12%, its almost impossible to tell anyone by pics, because organs interanally also house fat that you cant even see....

If you are ON CYCLE now, the calipers will give you an inflated value because of water bloating. Also it is hard to ball park BF% on a photo because you can have 6% BF and under trained tummy muscles so you have no shape or 6 pack, but you can also have very well developed tummy muscles that show and have 12% BF. It all depends on how well your abs are developed.Quote:

yeah i understand. the calipers weren't reading high though, they were reading around 5% and i knew that is way off. i got the fat trac II calipers and i measure in the three places (in between the armpit and the pecs, on the left side of the navel, and on the thigh). during the spring and summer i have much more defined abs but i am also a lower bf% then. but yeah, lately i have been slackin' on abs, just not in everything else. i usually do them three times a week which worked good over the summer, now i do them once every other week about. i will probably start doing them on thursdays, which are the days that don't take long to work my body parts that i need to work that day.

ten to twelve percent would be an accurate guess..JMO
three site systems are not accurate at all. You need around 10 sites to be measured.
Your body fat is about 10 percent.
