thanks fellas,,,truth be told i always had a touch of gyno even before i picked up a pin.i was a skinny teenager with puffy nips..so this was a long time coming for me being 34 now..i got the tubes removed today.they were the most inconvienent thing of the process.my chest feels good, nips are sore obviously but im hopeing to get in the gym by the end of the week to atleast work the legs..may be another week before i can do any upperbody as the nerves re-attach themselves.
i will see if i can get some before pics from the surgeon,he took about 6 pics before i went in on a digital camera.

good luck to ya bro with the recovery. it should take a while for the swelling to dissipate. gyno surgery is some serious stuff and docs mangle the inside of the breast. going to hurt for a while but your a tough fella so you should be ok. by any chance could you post a pic of your before self when you had the gyno so i can see how serious your case was? if you dont have any pics its cool i just thought i would ask. thanks and again hope you get well quick..

Puffy nips or protuded nipples, is another type of surgery which involves cutting the nipple shorter. It hads nothing to do with gyno.

i had both done,he cut the bottom 1/2 of the nipple and pulled out the gland which in his words was a size of a small steak, and then he made an incission under each armpit 1/3 of an inch and used tumecent lipo to remove any remaining fat..the nipples are the more sore.from what i can feel anyway.there isnt much feeling in them.not until all the nerves rgenerate...i had regular lipo(abs, sides and back )done 2 yrs ago and the pain doesnt even compare to that..that was horrable.i can deal with this.

Good luck with recovery bro. I had mine removed October 2003. At first its going to suck. Once you get those drains removed your going to swell up a little bit. No worries though, it'll go away. Also I just thought I should tell ya, I still don't have much feeling around my nipples. Oh well, not much of a loss I guess.

Interesting. I was reading about the surgery you had. Is this procedure considered cosmetic? Hope you are feeling better. Drains are a pain in the ass. I had 3 drains for my lower body lift.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I was reading through the post and I am wondering. I have slightly puffy Areola's but when everything gets restricted as in I get cold they look perfect. I dont have any lumps under my nipples. I am wondering if anyone else has this ?

I have this as well, I have recently started to wonder about it being a problem but I'm not really sure.

    pic

those pics you show don't really show much gyno to me. maybe they are just too small? any word on your surgeons pics? it seems to me a lot of guys are concerned about what gyno really is.....versus just fat in the chest. an actual picture may clear things up.

personally, my buddies tell me i have man boobs, but it's just b/c i have pecs (i hope). anyway, i'm curious to see those close ups to get a better idea of what you were dealing with.

yeah,i have to see him in 5 weeks, hes gonna take more pics then and then email em to me so you will be able to see the comparison then.i will post them as soon as i get them...the only way i can describe it is if you look straight down and can see your nipples, then you got man boobs, you shouldnt be able to see your own nipples..
