Extreme Ecto -- 128lb - 161lbs pictures
Hey everyone. These are my results after 12 weeks of proper diet and training. There was NO CYCLE involved in this, even though I considered steroids and did all the research before I learned that I'm nowhere near ready for them, even now.
5'10" -- Never lifted a weight in my life before jumping right into a solid routine.

shave the top of your head to look like you went bald. That will help.

problem with being ecto, is that I dont think I will ever go back to my old eating habbits again, because I will deflate as if I took steroids .
3,000 calories a day gets a little tiresome at times

dang bro, good job. most people that have never lifted before will see steroid like gains when they jump into a solid program like you did. Not taking anything away from you as you did an awsome job! what are you looking to do now?

Guys over 200 lbs have to eat 4000 calaries a day in order to maintain their weight at that level or else they loose weight at 3000 calaries a day.

Looks great, but are you sure that's a 33 pound gain in twelve weeks?
Don't worry about getting a little "pudgey", you'll always be able to diet down with a metabolism like yours. You'll gain muscle with the fat, and it's a lot easier to loose ten pounds of fat than it is to gain ten pounds of muscle.
Keep it up. You're gonna go far with your good attitude and dedication.

Thanks for all the positive replies.
The program I followed was developed strictly for ectomorphs, by an ectomorph named Anthony Ellis.
It had me training each muscle group no more than once a week and it would cycle the workouts to prevent plateus. I also had to leave the gym immediately to eat if my workout went over 70 minutes.
Monday- Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
Variation of bench press
Variation of overhead shoulder press
Bar dips
Wednesday- Legs
Squats
Variation of deadlifts
Friday- Back/Biceps/Lats
Pull ups (grip would vary)
Variation of curls
Bent over rows(bar or dumbbells, depending on which week of the program im at)
Week 7 and 8 of the program, I would do 10x10 with a light weight (to avoid hitting a plateu)
Thats about it. Diet would be split 40%_carbs/30%_protein/30%_unsaturated fats. My caloric intake would be 20x my bodyweight. Absolutely no more than 3 hours in between meals and a post workout shake of 100g of Dextrose/Maltodextrin. Protein with every meal as well.
It took me 2 months to mentally prepare for what I was about to undertake, and I feel that if I didnt take the time to prepare for this, I would have never gone through with it 100%

You made some awesome improvements.
I'm impressed.
What impresses me more is the fact that you set a goal, got a routine, and followed it tru...
Good to see you on the board...Welcome to AR

Great going man.

With the progress you made, and the way you went about it, I just don't think you will need to cut if you add another 14 pounds. 161 to 175.
I do like the idea of staying at 175. It will give yourself a chance to stablize at a new body weight.

Pinnacle: I swear to you that I am. But I think I have the body of a 16 year old with raging hormones. I am actually beginning to believe that I might not be a complete ecto either.
