4-5% bf three weeks after my show
Down from 253 at 36%
Here is what I did...
Started at 253 and 36% bf. Spent the first 4 months on the stairmaster to get my fat ass back down to around 235. I was measured at 24-25% at that time.
Started lifting 5 days per week and dropped to 218 at 11% Put on 18-20 pounds of muscle that year and lost 25 or so pounds of fat.
Although I was very happy with the results, my trainer suggested that I enter a contest as a goal. I thought about for about a minute and said sure. After I told everyone that I knew that I was going to do it, I was committed (literally).
A couple of months later I went to the dark side and did 12 weeks of T-200 400mg/week. 3 months later did it again and added 400mgs of Deca. My high weight in December was 255, I looked like a water buffalo.
In January I started doing some cardio and cycled off. I started my contest prep at 234 and 12%bf. I had gained 12 lbs of lbm this year.
It is interesting that I gained more natural than juiced. Whatever, a gain is a gain!
Through my 12 weeks of prep I dropped from 234 to 202 dry on the day of my show. I seem to hold about 12lbs of water so if had I not dryed out I would have weighed 214 at 4%. I did EQ/Fina/Prop for the first 6 weeks and Fina/Winny/Halo the last six weeks to keep the lbm. My net lbm gain for the year was 11 lbs I only lost 1 lb of lbm during cutting.
I did what everyone on this board sayes to do;
6 meals/day
350gm P, 150c 50f
no high GI carbs
low/no carbs after lunch
Lots of flank steak
2 gal water/day
45 min cardio upon waking
30 more before bed
1 body part per week
8-9 hours sleep every night
1 peice of chocolate cake per week
Cut out the cake 6 weeks out
Cut out bars and shakes 3 weeks out
Cut out eggs 2 weeks out
Cut sodium 1 week out
Cut water 18 hours out
Took Aldactone to dry out.
