lol - you're an animal G. I got the same Cybex Press in the gym I usually lift at. It simply does not hold enough weight Pretty soon it will be worthless for me - but outgrowing equipment is a good thing too! There is a little space behind wear ya put your feet to stack more 45lb'ers. Option 2 is to find someone that weighs about 180lbs and have him stand on top
BTW - that shit always pops veins in my traps for a few days. Leg Press is a really effective slide for developing quads by allowing massive weight. Superset it with Hack Squats and legs deffinitly grow. Giant set it with Hack and Leg Extensions and ya get a bit nautious. Leg day is a real testosterone pumper...
Lookin' solid...

Big G, try doing that weight with your feet a couple inches apart. It hits your quads more and takes your gluts out of the equation. Now that shit hurts!!! I always feel like my eyes will pop out.

I SEE WERE HAVING A BIT OF A LEG PRESS CHALLENGE! So, a fair contest goes as follows, how many 45 lb plates can u do down to 90% and up. Must need a digital camera to take and post pictures "WHILE IN MOTION". Borrow one if neccessary. I know my man warrior is up for this one! Remember, in motion pics, # of plates, poundage of person on top, Winner takes all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I swear the Legpress is going to kill me one of these days. I use to put on 8 plates on each side and rep out, like 15 reps, and one time i slacked on my breathing and when i finished i thought my head would explode-feeling didnt go away for a few hours, and for the next 6 months everytime i lifted my head started to kill me. I only do squats now, I think its the fact that your legs are above your head and you are putting up so much-blood pressure must be going through the roof!

You guys pulled up an older thread of mine. I'll have you all know that i can go as high as 12 plates on each side, 24 plates total, take it to 90 degrees for a full 10 reps! Thats over 1100 lbs depending on weight of sled!

some people can't squat due to an injury .i have a disc in my back thats degenerative .ill squat on the smith machine but you aint gonna catch me doin squats.another thing i never got anything but a big ass from squats.the way i am built they just dont work for me .i would squat 455 for reps and still nothin and that aint no bullshit squat thats below paralell. congrats big g on the 12 plates its a bitch .my best is 14 on a cybex like in your picture .i haven't done that in a while though.

Anyone ever tryed those legpresses were you can double the weight on the way down with a press of a button? Brutal!
My gym offcourse have 100lbs weights. "Palme self proclaimed hardcore stud".
