Question how many calories do you burn while lifting?

I want to know if there is a way to figure out how many calories are burned by working out. I know how much I burn on the cardio machine, but I can't find any info about lifting heavy. Does anyone have any idea?

I do about an hour everyday of weights pretty intensely ( to failure )
    on top of the cardio.

My software wants to know how much I burn everyday thru exercise. thanks guys.

It all depends on you heart rate during your work out, while resting between sets check your pulse for 60 seconds, multiply that by 1.6, if your heart rate is around your Target heart rate during training im guess 300-400+ cals.

I generally try to eat calories, not burn them.
