70lbs since october? your cycle is obviously working well. there is no such thing as too big as far as i am conerned. you must have added a ton of bodyfat. quest. what weight do you want to compete at next?
-

Shit man great job on bulking, you must have really planned it well. But if a lot of that is bf, start cutting, because 70 lbs in only 9 months can't be all muscle unless your a freak.
Looking good at contest bro.
HUGE PRESSER

GetNbig what do you mean by "sweep" my leg sweep?
-
06-15-2003, 05:50 PM #13
I think he is referring to the outer quad.
My guess is that you will "probably" lose a minimum of 4" off your quad when you cut, thats what happened to me but i got pretty fat in the off season. So throw a current pic up and we could probably give you a hint once we look at your current BF.

Looking good bro...but those quads are freaky big! Please do tell what the staple of your quad routine has been...squats..or...?
Cheers!
D
p.s. Not too big at all...it just makes you have to beef up your calves to look even...

I like to injure myself on leg day. 1x a week. no cycle's. i like hip sled just cause i get spectators. ill do 1600 8x and then hobble over to hacks and kick out 350 for another 8x. the other stack is leg extensions- racked out for 12 reps then squats 495 for 8x. after i do hams. usually laying curls 4 sets (o sorry all sets are 4) 12-15 reps and then stiff legs after 4 sets 12-15 reps. i usuakky save calves for the next day or 2 after cause NO ENERGY. sound good?

everything is looking great, esp. the leg ofcurse. I bet you have some hard time finding pants which fit.

great legs! my legs are similiar to yours(not as big of course lol) as i can get huge quads and hams but cant add that much in the calf area due to skinny legs running in my family
-
Awesome quads!!

cornerback24 i also have that prob with calves. i put on 2.5 inches since comp. talk about stretch marks hehe. small legs also run in my family but i think anyone can push past genetics. just work em once a week and on that one day KILL EM'
-
06-16-2003, 05:03 PM #31
yeah, those quads are friggin' humongous. I'm really jealous now.
But I've never seen a hip sled before so I won't try your insane routine.
-
06-16-2003, 05:37 PM #32
its the thingie you sit down in and push weight up at an angle.
-
06-16-2003, 05:38 PM #33
Fuck too big, your legs rock. Hopefully someday my wheels will be like that. They do overshadow your upper body, but it's way better than having a upper body that overshadows the lower IMO.
-
06-16-2003, 05:43 PM #34
ya i know this guy with 20' arms and his quads are only 24'. really makes him look off. I really filled out my upper body this bulking season so when i cut this year ill look more porp.

Nice job quadzilla! Adding new meat to your legs can deffinitly increase your bodyweight - your legs hold some large muscle groups. People with underdeveloped hamstrings can easily add 10 pounds to their bodyweight by finally blasting their hams.
But whether they are too big or not - I would say keep at 'em cause you will make a good impression and stand out from the others more. Just put some more of those intensity fundamentals to work on your upper body so it catches up. Lookin' good.

here ya go golden loyd heres how old they are

As far as overall symmetry goes, your legs do overpower the rest of your body. So, for competition purposes that could either be helpful (if no one else has any fucking wheel on stage next to you), or hurt you (others have decent wheels, but better overall balance to their physiques). I say fuck it, blow 'em up. They look awesome. But, you need to decide if it is going to help or hurt you if you keep competing.

i say let the rest of your body catch up... a lot of guys have trouble with wheels and then they look top heavy... it will only help you in the long run... great job so far though i am very impressed especially for only 2 years of training.

the stats at the start of the thread....... are those at 169 with 18.5" arms and 32"quads et. etc., cause how tall are you?
lookin good though, wish i had those legs/calfs

Nothing can get to big, i say its better to have a bigger lower body, than lets say, arms or chest..
