Thanks for the comments guys.

We train in the suit with the straps down, and briefs and belt. No wraps except in meet.

klg, I'm 21, I'll be 22 in a few weeks.
Dude-Man, if you want to save your knees when squatting you might want to consider box squats. You'll still hit all the same muscles as you would with free squats, but you take a lot of stress off the knees when you sit back onto the box.
I think inzer wraps are the best out there. If you go to inzernet.com they have I believe 3 different length wraps, depending on the size of your legs. I'd go with the medium ones.
They do definitely help with stability. That's really the only reason I wear them in competition. They keep your knees from turning in. I don't think I personally get a whole lot out of them as far as boosting my squat.

Unbelievable! At 21 years old you have potential to grow and be one of the top powerlifters. How does you bench and deadlift compare with your squat?

Thanks again guys.
My bench is mid 600, deadlift is around 800.

Very nice, i should start squatting wider. I can hit 700+ with a closer stance but i've never tried a stance that wide. Do you think it adds much? I know i can deadlift a lot heavier closer stance than sumo style so it might just be the individual.

I'm pretty sure he told me that was shirted.
I dont care, anyone benching over 5 bills raw gets props in my book for being strong, when i can bench 600 instead of 550 then the number will move up. haha.

The nice thing about a wider stance is it cuts down on the range of motion. In order to pull it off though you have to have really strong hips.
I actually used to pull conventional but then switched to sumo because we train so much with the wide squat stance that my hip strength really shot up.

I haven't tested my raw bench in over a year. I usually don't go heavier than 445 raw in my warmups. I'm pretty sure I could bench 500 raw with good form.

We need to get BDTR a good shirt just to see what numbers he can toss up. Even if he just squezes 150 from the shirt we are looking at over 7 bills.
