    Need help with avatar

I have tried a few times to add an avatar to my profile, but it's not taking. Can someone give me some pointers on what I may be doing wrong? I have attached the jpg image that I would like. If y'all can help, please do.

First off, it's too big. Maximum size is 150 x 150, so here's the shrunk version :

Click on UserCP and then there will be a link to Avatar - pretty self explanatory once you get in there.

when I saved the pic to my pictures on my computer and clicked brouse on the avatar, it said that it was not a valid gif, jpg or some other type of image. It saved the picture as a bitmap image.
