    Var and 6 weeks out?

    Hi all. I've been reading all the info posted for var, and it sounds
    pretty good. I have a few concerns though:

    I'm 7 weeks from a contest, but I still need a little size in the upper body. Hamstrings HUGE problem area. need to tighten.

    will this be a good choice to do at this time?

    How bad are the side effects (swollen clit, worries me) mood swings?
    I saw dosage as 5mg, first 2 weeks, up to 10mg.
    I also have some clen left, should I stack the two? now or closer to contest?

    I'm 5'8" about 143 right now. I guess bf would be about 14% now.

    i took T3 and clen about 4 weeks ago and got down to 129 at around 9/10%.

    i feel like I may have sacrificed some muscle and want to get it back.
    I probably should order ASAP though, huh?

    p.s. Ann thanks for all your help with T3 and Clen I look forward to seeing what you think about this.

    Starting taking var 6 weeks out to build up more muscle is a mistake IMO. I think it's too late as a good course of var should be at least 10 weeks...

    Somebody correct me maybe

    Mystic, Thanks for your reply. I may actually switch shows, just so I have more time. This show will be in July (about 16 weeks). In your opinion should I use the var for 10 weeks to gain size and then cut down the following 6 weeks, or will it help me with both size and leanness? Have you taken var? What were your results?

    If you do the other show in 16 weeks, that's another story...

    I know girls who have been taking var for 16, 14, 12 & 10 weeks prior to contest day, & they all had good result with it.
    So if you can afford it, you can start it know, right up to the show.
    As you said, start with 5mg the first 2 weeks(2 x 2.5mg, morning & evening), than up to 10mg(2 x 5mg morning & evening).

    & yes, it wil help you for size, fat-burning, & hardness as well.

    I did try it: no side effect... I had mood swing but it was due to the diet

    Thanks Mystic, I think you basically told me what I needed to hear. I have definately changed my show dates. first one in about 8, then one in 12 and maybe another
    after that.

    How high did you keep your carbs? I feel like I always cut everything too quickly and end up looking like a starving ethiopian. Should I keep my carbs higher on this?
    I am only eating one to two starches a day and my weight has gone up
    10 lbs since last diet, but so has my strength. Calories around 1400-1500.

    I think I need to get over the carb depeleting util closer to my show. ( I would do this for 3 days, eat a carb, 3 day deplete)

    It would be helpfull to post your diet as I'll be able to say if your carbs are too low...

    Here is what I was thinking on basis of diet. I'm 7weeks, from a model type show, won't need to be as tight and about 11 weeks and 15 weeks from NPC shows.
    So I don't want to drop my carbs too low too far out:

    Here are my numbers and foods:
    Today's Foods
    meal 1
    1/2 cup oats
    4 eggwhites
    1 scoop protein

    meal 2
    chicken
    broccoli, carrots, cauliflower

    meal 3
    chicken
    salad
    lite dressing

    meal 4
    4 egg whites
    1 scoop protein
    veggies

    meal 5
    (post workout)
    shake
    4oz potato

    chicken (depending on hungry level and time)
    broccoli

    Totals 1558 34 125 200

    Let me know what you think.
    As it gets closer to the shows, I start dropping my calories. Maybe I should just keep it at these levels. ? with NO cheats

    Meal 1:
    1/2 cup oats
    6 egg whites

    Meal 2:
    Add 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil(or Udo's oil)

    Meal 3:
    Dressing made with 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil+balsamic vinegar

    Meal 4:
    2 scoops of whey+1 tbsp of oil

    Meal 5: PWO
    1 scoop of whey

    Meal 6: PWO meal(1hr after meal 5)
    Chicken+4oz sweet potatoe(lower GI than normal potatoe)


    Depending how you look, drop the sweet potatoe 3-4 weeks out & have salad instead.

    If meal 4 is taken 1 hour before training, have a protein shake as I stated, otherwise(more than 1 1/2 hr) have 6 egg whites+greens.

    I saw your photos and you look amazing!!
    I would say that you have the ideal feminine physique in my mind. Nice muscularity,
    but still beautiful.

    So I respect and welcome all advice that you can give me.

    I have good tone, but my muscles become flat after dieting.

    How long have you been competing? What other supplements have you taken and
    what is your favorite?

    This is only my second year competing. Actually, I'm 5 weeks out of my next show, the Nabba Britain final, & it will be my 6th show.

    I was always very active, but I started weight-lifting seriously 6 years ago. I'm lucky as my partner is into BB 20 years, so I got to learn a lot from him.
    We own a gym so it makes things easier too ...



    The supplements I use are:
    -Pro-peptide(CNP)
    -Creatine
    -Glutamine
    -Amino Acids

    I only use Pro-peptide PWO. I believe in solid food & try to keep supplements very minimal in my diet.
    I like CNP(Chemical Nutrition) as they don't upset my stomac(contains probiotics) & they are tasty too.

    HI Mystic,

    Good luck on your shows, I'm sure you will do great.
    Having a partner like that is definately a huge help.

    I recently started lifting with a bodybuilder (10yrs) and you get so
    much more out of your workouts this way.

    I'm also interested in what other "things" you have taken and gotten
    good results from.

    Did you personally take var or do you just know about it?

    Yes, I use anavar (& clen +efedrine). I won't use anything else, although some people suggested me to try other AS, like Primo for exemple, but I won't! I'm very happy with anavar, so I'll just stick with it.

    I know few competitors females who took too many different AS, & they don't look the way they used to anymore(if you know what I mean). I definitly don't want to follow that road as I love too much being very feminine ...

    Last year I competed at the Nabba Universe, & few women in a far better condition than me didn't even place: I think it's because they were just too "manly"(& they did compete more years than me).

    I think you have to make sure to know where to "stop", & not sacrifice your look for the sake of being more "ripped" than some other girls: it's the overall package that counts... Well that's my opinion anyway

    Well said. I totally agree.
    There is a time to draw the line, and many women cross it.

    You looked very muscular and feminine in your photos. In my opinion the perfect balance. So keep up the good work and thanks for your advice.

    Thanks for all your advice Mystic, I really don't have any other girls here to talk to about this stuff. I FINALLY received my Anavar today and am starting my cycle. (also with clen 60mg and increasing, 2 weeks on, 2 off). Should I expect to see the scale still decrease correct? I should be losing bf and gaining lean tissue at the same time, right? My show is in 8 weeks now and one in 12. If I look leaner and tighter in 4 weeks I may jump in a "model" type show.

    Don't weigh yourself, but go by how your clothes fit...

    I'm 3 weeks out &, although my weight didn't drop(never weigh myself, only 3 days before a show to compare with the last one), I'm getting leaner...

    So don't be obsessed with your weight & focuse on your diet & training.

    With Anavar +clen , your muscle mass will increase & your body-fat decrease(with a clean diet & hard tyraining of course ), so the number on your scale has not much signification...
