I was wondering what you girls drink after your workout? I was drinking a shake (whey and meltodextrin) but my workouts are late at night so I have recently changed to having veggies to hopefully help my weight loss plateau.

I was wondering what you girls drink after your workout? I was drinking a shake (whey and meltodextrin) but my workouts are late at night so I have recently changed to having veggies to hopefully help my weight loss plateau.
dextrose and whey but mine are either at 12ish or 6ish...if your post-training meal is basically your last meal of the day, that is a tough call...your body doesn't know what time it is...it just knows you trained it so when you look at it from that perspective, you need some simple carbs...(plus protein) i don't think a little bit is going to do anything but help...i'm not saying have 100 grams of malto...but i think it needs some...i would drop it lower and lower as you get closer to your show but i think you should keep some in for now (you are 10 weeks out???)
on the other hand, if you are stalled, try something completely different and see how it goes
i'm sure that didn't help at all though...
