    Would like to say hello!

    Hi Everyone!

    I'm new to the forum but, I'll do my best to not break any forum rules! I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

    I'm female (thought I'd mention that since BrutalRooster isn't very gender specific!) around 5'7" and last time I weighed myself I was 115lbs. I don't like weighing myself since I was very focused on that when I was younger and it snowballed into restrictive eating. Instead, I try to go off how I look and how my clothes fit.
    I have been working out since I was around 16 years old but have only recently started to lift the 'big boy' weights! In the past four months I've gone from squatting just the 45lb bar (heh) to 120lbs (with bar). I still need to work on the mental aspect of putting more weight on the bar. It makes me nervous!
    I don't have any specific goals-just want to put on more muscle while leaning out some-particularly in the midsection.

    Hope to get some great information from you guys and meet some other like-minded females who do something other than 45 minutes of cardio!

    Welcome and hope you find all the info your looking for, I have been lifting for over 14 yrs and just joined the forum this month. Lots of nice people here and we all love the same thing staying in shape and getting big!!!!

    Welcome! There is a woman's site and gender neutral sites where you can post your stats and goals and the vets/members will help you design a program to meet your objectives! Enjoy!!

    LOL Thanks Terraj, I always wanted to have a band named it... :P

    girlygymrat-I applied for access to the female only boards and I'm still waiting to hear anything. Does it take very long? I'm eager to see more female-specific posts and post a few questions of my own!
