Just an another newbie
Hi guys I joined this board a few weeks ago after a friend told me this is the best place for info on anabolics and working out. I'm really only interested in working out naturally atm.
I've never done any cycles in the past and don't plan to until around about 2008, if I think I'm ready ,when I'll be 22. I figured it would be best to come here and read all the posts now and do some research while I don't intend on doing any cycles rather than just rush into it in 4 years time.
I've been lifting for only a few months now and I am making pretty good gains in the gym( went from 77-82 in past 3 months) and I'm pretty keen to see how I look in 4 years time I was 77kg @ 16%bf when I started and I am getting my bf done soon.
I am 6`1 atm and 82kg/180 pounds and I try to eat clean best I can.
My legs are pretty strong compared to my upper body because I do a lot of bike riding and I have a manual labour job.
All exercises i aim for 6-8 reps with 3 sets. I start with about 20kg under my P.B. for each exercise and work my way up. ( except bicep curls )
e.g. start on 160kg x 8 , 170x 7 , EDIT- 200 x 6 on leg press
benching 65kg x 6, flat 60kg x 8 incline.
200kg x 7 on leg press is my best @ 17/9/04 - 20kg improvement from last record. I felt good so I just chucked the extra weight on and did it.
68kg x 8 lat pull down
65kg x 8 calf raises
35-40 pound bicep curls x 8 - I want to improve on this, anyone got any good exercises that will give me better strength? :\
75kg x 8 squat on smith machine.
I'll try and get my stats pretty soon so I can give u all something to start with.
Right now I take Balance:- Weight Gainer,Creatine,HMB,L-Glutamine and Glucose with lots of food and water
I'm not pretending to be an expert on anything so if you can help me anyway whether it be diet tips or lifting techniques/exercises I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks bros

You are on the right track, I was 25 when I did my first cycle and now at 46 I think it was wise to wait. Keep reading and learning! Welcome to AR!

I am 82kg/183pounds bodyfat is around 15-17%
2.2 pounds per kilo
220pounds = 100kg
I do plenty of bike riding- about 100km each week and I have a manual labour job. So it is a little harder for me to put weight on because I burn it all off.Last edited by slob; 09-13-2004 at 01:19 AM.
