Hey, this site is tremendous! I'll spend many hours pouring over all of the information. I've lifted weights on and off most of my life (I'm 41), but my real passion has been martial arts. I began training in 1976 and trained extremely hard for most of that time until an auto accident pretty much ended it for me last year. I was rear ended by a loaded 18 wheeler who chose not to stop and at a red light. I was in a wheel chair for a few months and eventually, slowly began to get up and out. While I will never practice martial arts as in the past, I can get more serious about lifting weights as long as I do it slowly and with some common sense. I'm planning to start a cutting cycle in a couple of months to shed some of the weight I picked up while lying on my back so long. I'm also hoping the gear will help strengthen some of the soft tissues in my back that has been damaged. At any rate, I'm sure whatever the issue or question I can find the answer here. Thanks in advance to everyone and I hope to learn a lot from all of you.
