Hello from South
I was a member years ago on MassMonsterz which I believe dream ran and I have been out of lifting for over 2 years due to some health issues caused by polycythemia vera. Now that I have that under control I am slowly working my way back into lifting and kick boxing. Currently I am 268 6'1 and 47 goal is 240 by 48 and down from a 38 inch waist to a 34 I have a long slow road ahead of me as long as the PV stays in check if not well lets not go there....

Welcome! There are quite a few of us that struggle with polycythemia, but as you know it can be managed. Prior to TRT my Hct was 52.8% and has been over 56%, but with donations, blood letting, and diet alterations, my last Hct was around 47%.
Also quite a few of us in the 40 and over club here. Again, welcome to the forum! There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Those are quite possibly the highest Hgb and Hct values I've seen? My RBC and RDW values run pretty close to your values. Really try to stay on top of the Hct and Hgb!
The WBC is a tad odd. Mine has only been elevated when I got staph in my blood once. Did you have any spleen issues or infection going on at the time those were pulled?Last edited by almostgone; 06-24-2017 at 05:40 AM.
