just returned from iraq
I just got back from iraq. I was there 4 almost a yr. In that time i ended up losing 25 pounds. I was also wounded while i was up there which didn't help out any. I basically need to gain back the weight i lost & regain my strength. Its really hard cuz i'm weak as hell right now. I need all the help i can get. 1 of my friends suggested steroids. I've been doing a lot of research and i came upon this site. I hope it turns out well.

Hey bro, welcome back. My brother just got back from over there. He too spent almost a year there, and came back a great deal thinner. Luckily, he was not injured.
As for your quest....don't think of steroids as a quick fix...they are not. Muscle memory is awesome!!!!! Once you start eating like a horse, and get back in the gym....you will regain your old size in no time. Again, don't look to steroids to be the catalyst.

Welcome to AR and welcome back from Iraq. I think it is pretty **** admirable to fight for our country. Thank you.

What branch of military are you in? My brother is probably the person I look up to and respect the most because he is also in the military defending our country. Thank you!

Hey soldier, glad you made it back safely. Too many lives are lost over there! My friend was in Iraq for a year and was supposed to come back in April. Instead we're going to his funeral on Saturday. He was killed in a mortar attack last Thursday.
Thank you for serving our country.
Give yourself time to recoup....it'll happen, your body has a lot to adjust to.

Thanks
Thanks everybody 4 all ur support. I'm sorry about ur friend Cali. People in my unit were injured in a mortar attack also luckily at that time I was outside the wire on a mission. **** Hajis would pull up in a donkey cart right outside our camp & start firing mortars all the time. I'm a combat medic in the army and i served with the 4th infantry division. I treated a lot of soldiers there. I'm just glad to be back. I'm still getting used to having running water and not jumping around from sudden noise. I'm 5' 8" and right now i'm down to 145 pounds. I left weighing 170. I've been reading a lot of the boards. Most of them suggest that i need 2 seriously lift 4 some time b4 i even think of juicing. 4 now that's wut i'm gonna do. I'll continue to research on this subject so i know exactly wut i'm doing if i start juicing. & once again thanks all 4 all ur support.

Sounds like you have figured it out...good job. Hang around here and do some research at AR. This is an excellent board with very knowledgeable and very helpful members.
Good luck!

First off...THANK YOU!!! I really admire what you did for your country, but you should really just hit the gym hard for a couple of months and make as much gains as naturally as possible. Then i would recommend doing a cycle.
Thanks again!!!

Welcom home Bro, I too just returned from a two year stent, in various places. We return back home about a month ago, and I'm still trying to adjust. It takes time to rebuild what we lost, but muscle memory is the bomb. Take about six months to a year, and eat like a horse, train like an animial, once you stop seeing any natural gains, then do a cycle to boost you past your genetic potential.
