There are a few opinions. Most agree that 24-25yrs old, giving your endocrine system to fully mature.
I believe 21 would be ok as long the person has a SOLID BASE AND DIET. But, there are not many 21yr olds
that could say that.

ok well I'm 20 this year and my diet is sorted already 3700 calories 7 meals a day and was doing FST-7 for a while, but can I ask why being 19 is to young? cos I'm not overdoing it, I'm being very safe with doses, keeping them at the lowest acceptable margin

not to be a smart azz, but this is the problem and the answer. You don't, apparently understand the sides of these substances, not in just taking them, but the permanent effect they can have on a younger person. I don't have the vocabulary to spell it all out, but there is info all across the board for you to read.

Any time that you think you are the "exception" to a rule, that's the biggest clue that you aren't. Maturity has to do with your body and not just your mental/emotional state, based upon your answers you have no maturity in any area. What you've been through has nothing to do with what your body is producing and how introducing substances to your body affects it's useful and effretive future production of same. Listen to those who know, apply what you are told and grow into the biggest baddest dude you can.

I don't know a lot. But I have to say, as someone with hypothyroidism, allowing the endocrine time to mature sounds smart.
