    New at this and need some info...

    I'm a recent cancer survivor. Thyroid cancer to be exact. They had to remove my thyroid so therefore I no longer have a metabolism. I'm on synthetic thyroid medicine but its hit and miss...mostly miss. I have gained about 35 pounds since my surgery 8 months ago. I need something to help me lose this fat that I have gained and cut my existing muscle. I'm 6"2 and 250 lbs and really wanna get to a solid 220... suggestions please
