    Lightbulb The zone

    G'day from brisvegas.
    Age 27
    H 186cm
    W 95kg
Body type: Meso with abit of endo.

I have a good deep passion for training, I suffer from depression and anxiety on a daily basis also.

I guess I'm not really sure what I'm looking for here but I'm hoping for abit of honest insight on mental health when it comes to motivation for training/dieting daily, mentality going into workouts? Self doubt ? Low self esteem and lacking confidence? I train to break mental barriers, the body can take a fucken trashing if your mind allows you too.. How do you guys get into the "zone"

    Evil.
Pure evil, bad memories, self disdain, loathing the future,
    and cursing the past.

I like to take all that hatred and load it into a metaphorical
Revolver pointed at my Medulla Oblongata.

I take the trigger of that revolver and squeeze it upon every failing rep.

    Music and ephedrine helps.

    Convert emotion to willpower.
Fear, sadness, anger, depression especially can be turned into a valuable tool for self destructive workouts.

Some people cut themselves or become serial killers because the couldn't channel shit right...

Not I, I can use that to gain a rep when most would have called it a fail rep.

Many out there know exactly what I mean.

The above mentioned can be a valuable way to defeat depression. Find Musclescience and click on the depression thread linkin his signature.

You have a whole lot of demons and gremlins and critters in you. Let them out at the right time and it is very beneficial.

Boom. Yeah good. I can relate to a lot of that, I try different things, music, I have a Vicks inhaler I might use in between set and you can even bite down on it during heavy sessions it allows me better neck/jaw position or hold water on my mouth. Correct stretching especially lats and biceps/chest. However my most failed attribute would have to be my breathing technique, deeper inhale longer exhale is my focus. I also enjoy using a small amount of weed before some sessions I can get into deeper meditation, and work upto absolute failure but I love a good super set !

There's certainly a demon, I like to think no regrets.

It's early days tho. The future is looking bright....
