Yeah it's an obvious one. Who can resist the obvious crack. I'm just glad I got there first tonight. I don't like sloppy seconds. That like tasting the guy before and that's a bit gross - IMHO.

If i remember correctly, in reality, the chaces of the virus acquiring the ability to become airborn is pretty slim. if my memory serves correct, i t would take a bird flu virus to enter into a human cell already infected with another type of virus. From here the 2 viruses would swap genetic information in gene crossover. and here, IF it (the swap of genetic information) actually were to happen, is still like a 50/50 (with the right genes being swapped) shot or the odds might even be in more favor against the bad scenerio, would have to happen.
and as long as we can contain this virus, we should be ok. its not likely that the bird flu will just suddenly aquire the ability to become airborn on its own
some one correct me if im wrong please

From what I've been reading, the big fear isn't really the bird flu...
What scientists and health orgs are afraid of is the fact that apparently the bird flu virus is very unstable and mutates very easily. A human mutation could turn into a pandemic in no time flat.
Of course if it's only like the SARS crap which only killed a handfull of people (the old, weak and ill), I wouldn't worry too much about it.
