    regulating blood sugar with supps

I was researching this about 3 months ago when I was having problems with going hypoglycemia when I came off my 3 month cycle of GH 4iu/day 5days on/2off. The problem was only helped by eating every 3-4 hours and waking up in the middle of the night to eat and with time.

I was trying to find supps and drugs that would safely put your blood sugar back in line.

i found a lot of supps that studies showed that it had promise but unfortunately those same supps would have studies with inconclusive results. The only ones that I remember being consistently positive:

    1)high fiber diet

    2)exercise

    3)ALA
    many studies out there...

4)lowering carb intake(I did not say no carbs)/eat less

this can get out of hand just like your supps for weightlifting. I think following the recommendations above with a multivitamin with a good amount of vitamin E is enough but I want to make this more complete.

list of supps that have promise but did not find enough evidence or found conflicting studies:
    chromium
    vanadium
the herbs Gymnema sylvestre and banaba leaf
    vitamins A,C, and E
    Vanadyl Sulfate
    Galega officinalis (20% guanylhydrazine)
    Bitter Melon extract (Momordica charantia)
    Quercetin
    Pyridoxine
    N-acetyl cysteine

some info on the above supps
