    Around 100 applications to Canadian Companies

    I sent out around 100 applications to Canadian companies and finally got a job in Ontario. I am wondering whether it is the custom for Canadian companies to pay for plane tickets. Does anyone know if I can ask my company to pay for my plan ticket?

    What is your profession? Is it typical in such a profession to have paid travel?

    ha! that was funny wmaosley, and a fair point. but taking the question at face value, it is standard industry practice for companies to pay for travel associated with an interview in my experience. if there is any ambiguity, you can of course inquire directly, and tone your note to be open but clear in what you are requesting.
