    Over 50 Forum

I'm sure the majority of you guys can't imagine many over 50 bodybuilders being a part and participating in this forum . I didn't pickup weight training seriously until I was 38 yrs . I've never competed but would have liked to years ago . None the less I have come a long way for someone who weighed in at a measley 175 when I began my training . I began by begging my way into training with some of the best in our gym . Over the years if have trained with some very knowledgable guys and they taught me alot about training , rest , nutrition and moderate amounts of anabolic use . I'll be 51 yrs this July and I'm tipping in at 225 @ 10 % bf . 52 in chest ,34 in waist,26 in quads and 18 in arms . I wonder how many others close to my age or older visit this forum and would like to hear you views . Thanks Topcat

I'm 48, you'd be surprised how many over 40 Bros are on these boards.

    Well, welcome to AR!

I'm 51 and near the end of my second cycle. I posted pix somewhere down below on this Forum. I didn't seriously start lifting til I was 30 and started at about 175 or so then (though I was as low as 155 at 6'5" years before that) and I only did my first cycle last summer. I'm 248 or so now though my bf is more like 17% or so. I still have a lot to learn!

You have great stats! I'd like to see pix sometime. How many cycles have you done?

think they should start a form for over 40's once we get up to mid 40's and in our 50's 30 really seems young again lol
