I was reading some of the treads when I came to one that said to take the nolvadex 2 weeks before a cycle. Is that what is recomended?

I have never started 2 weeks prior with any of my anti's. I guess every body is different though and if you react different to AAS, I could see where starting early would be of help. Due to the esters of most gear not considering things like orals or injectables that are used to jump start a cycle, I wouldnt see why you would want to start early.

I'll bump it for more answers?

No it's not rediculous or a waste at all............

All drugs take time to build blood levels to be effective in doing it's job...... Starting all anti-e's 2 weeks prior to the cycle will allow the blood levels to be peaked and working when the cycle starts.

Anti-e's for the most part are easy to get and cheap......... and it's a hell of lot cheaper and less painful then surgery IMO.

This is how I always run my anti-e's and never had any problems with gyno..... so to me it's a smart way to cycle....... also, I'm not the only user that uses this approach.
