PCT without a cycle?

Hey guys,
A buddy of mine asked me if he could take clomid and/or nolvedex by itself without doing a cycle, for a test boost. I tried to do some research and didn't come up with anything conclusive. He doesn't want to suppress his natural test so do you think he, as a football player, could get any benefit off taking either or both of these drugs? Sorry if this was a stupid question but I would rather ask and know I am right.

JUST get some tribulus and it might help. yohimbe too. and make you horny

Yeah he's tried all that, just wanted to try something different.
