current trend regarding clomid

i've been reading a lot lately the current trends are to not use clomid for pct. i was going to run clomid/nolva for my pct. what's the deal with clomid? are people standing by it's use or is everyone turning away from it. i already bought a bottle of it and plan to use it but jus want some more opinions on what people have to say about clomid

I think a lot of people still use it. It's just that clomid has some negative side effects for some people so they can choose whether to use it or not. Personally the side effects I get from it are bearable so I stick with it, but I'm sure just running nolva, or hcg with nolva would work just as well. Maybe someone else can chime in about this.

The only side from clomid that would be a problem for most is visual side effects...... the other sides like deppression, and acne are part of having very low hormone levels....... so you will see this with Nolvadex as well.

this is one of the most debated topics. i personally dont use 2 serms any more, nolva is the only one now.

I'm with Mudman on this one. 100mg of Clomid (no visual problems for me), 20mg Nolva, and .25mg of Arimidex for 1 month or longer.

im doing a 12 week sust cycle at 500mg/wk (125mg eod)...i plan on running nolva at 10mg/ed throughout and starting pct 18 days after last injection...how neccessary is running arimidex ?...would this work as well?

day 1: 300mg clomid
day 2-15: 100mg clomid
day 16-30: 50mg clomid
day 1-30: 20mg nolva

its complex, with multiple pathways.

1 - most of the test that would have aromatized to estrogen is still floating around your body as test

2 - one of your bodies main methods of telling if you have enough test in your system is estrogen. if your body reads low estrogen, it assumes low test and signals to produce more test.

its more complicated than that, but thats basicly it.
