    HCG Needle Question

Can I use a 6mm insulin needle for subq HCG shot in the stomach? Most people say 1/2 inch. Is 6mm to short? Also, just to make sure, it's injected at a 45° angle, correct?

    I'd say you're pushing it with 6mm.

Even though you're only injecting into fat, you still want to be sure to be deep enough into the fat.

I've also never injected at an angle, grab a pinch and go straight in

As long as it get's through the skin you will be fine. Human skin is only 2 mm thick.

You will feel less pain if you inject at a 90°.
