About the year 2000 or 2001 I was living in Arizona in my early 20s and hitting the gym like mad when a "meat head" that I worked with offered me "juice."
At the time there was little information available (to me) or at least I didn't due my own research because based on the size of the co-worker I figured that he knew what he was doing.

Anyway, long story short I ended up taking a cylindrical green plastic pack of pills that he advised me to "melt" in the oven then inject in the liquid into my glutes. I gave me noticeable size and strength gains, lots of water/bloat and sore lumps under the nipples. I wasn't taking anything else and never took PCT. After I stopped taking it about 8 or 9 weeks in, partially because of bloat and nip discomfort I became depressed which lasted almost 2 years.

WHAT is your best guess that I was taking?

sounds like dianabol , how often did you inject it.

Sounds like test of some sort, never heard of melting it then injecting it. That right there would have had me running to the hills.

test does not come in liquid form, dianabol is a for a test with something attached to make into pill. There is also liquid dianabol.

Injections were twice a week which makes me think it was test?
I have the strong suspicion that it was originally for animals (cows?) as that was what the guy at the time hinted at.
Again, super ignorant of me at the time... SMH.
