Bush shuns NAACP

I'm a Bush supporter and I think he is stepping on his dick on this one.

I agree to an extent, but imagine the press clips Kerry would get if the entire crowd booed Bush. Besides, why would you want to speak to a crowd that just concurred with a scathing speech bashing Bush?

Did anyone read what the chairman said about the current administration yesterday, he basically said they are a bunch of racists who want to go back to segregation. I wouldn't go either. He went in 2000. NAACP is supposed to be a non-partisan group so they qualify for some federal funds. I don't know how they get away with public statements like the ones of yesterday.

i agree with both, catholic church and NAACP should shut up if they want to be tax exempt. but arent colleges tax exempt? they cram anti republican stuff down your throat all the time

If you go down the list of liberal issues, polls have shown the majority of ppl agree with them, not just college students. I think that some times conservatives are just so hard nosed on certain things, like how do you explain to someone why gays can't get married? Or explain to a graduating college student that outsourcing is actually good? How do you explain to a woman that a male politician is going to tell her what she is going to do with her uterus and otherwise a male policeman will arrest her, do you think there would be such a debate on abortion if there were more women in congress? All I'm trying to say is that it seems like one side offers choices where the other has certainly made up its mind on how things should be and makes the choice for you. I just don't understand what republican issues are going to appeal to college students, i don't think its a question of jamming info down throats.

I know of no schools that are conservative, because conservative don't want to give them as much tax money as libs.

Well most blacks do not vote- and when they do vote, it is demorcratic. The only problem with this is, he might encourage some to finally register and vote against him!
07-15-2004, 09:22 AM #14
Most whites don't vote either but I agree with you. Thinking about it more catering to a hostile NAACP won't help anything. There are plenty of other venues with black republicans.

well if the naacp was like it was years ago i would down bush for not going but since its a fringe extremist group now a days and is making partisan comments i say who cares. does anyone know that when we were having hearings about living veitnam pow's..kerry squashed the investigation and after it was concluded his cousin mr. forbes recieved millions and millions of dollars from hanoi construction. hmmmm. this is factual! im not a big bush fan but hanoi kerry can suck my dick! and he also has said if he is elected he will not make any security decisions without getting the UN's approval. WHAT? F THAT! BETTER YET.F KERRY!

Percentage wise more black vote than white that's a fact. If you are talking the total percantage of whites in America they clearly vote less.

I love how he says that the NAACP is not partisan, just critical......yeah, hes using unfounded accusations to bash Bush and supporting John Kerry, thats just being "critical." I guess thats all Rush Limbaugh is then, just "critical" of the liberals

Bush refused to speak to the NAACP because their president, Kweisi Mfume, has defamed him on multiple occasions accusing him of racism and everyother biggoted thing under the sun. Plus the NAACP would vote democrat. They are getting old, plus they do not represent much of the black comunity, they only represent a very small but vociferous minority. He went and spoke to the Urban League. I feel that he was right not to speak to the NAACP, I mean they think that they can say anything and there will be no consequences, how silly.
08-15-2004, 08:52 PM #23
Why would Bush go to a NAACP convention after everything that was said. IT would be the same as Kerry went on THE Oreily Factor. IM sure both would be pleasent experiances for both.

Hey Bush supporters can you say......buh bye. Guess my poem was true Bush is a klansman.
I had a conversation with a man on gun laws...
and he said he has a constitutional right to hunt amongst the trees that stand tall...
but his country ass isnt aware of the problems in the urban areas we got going on...
then he said he knows...
but **** them crack dealers drug addicts and hoes...
he must not of heard about the 6 year old killed in Philadelphia while walking to school...
then he said he dont care about them n' words like the n' word is cool...
i said hillbilly you make white people look bad...
and black people mad with that hate thats propagated by your punk ass dad...
I didnt mean to offend him but his words bothered me...
he dont see his trailer park is the projects for white poverty...
its not about color but who has the money in their hand...
George Bush is the new leader of the Ku Klux Klan...
and we are all just his ******s and no race is bigger...
its puerto ricans, whites and blacks in Iraq all dying by the trigger...
the cash crop isnt cotton we all slaves for the oil...
i used to cry when people died but now it makes my blood boil...
and I want to get ill up on capitol hill..
but these rich mother ****ers are protected by constitutional bills...
cause when we step up to protest they assault us with gas...
but this time mother ****ers I got something for that ass...
everyone that hears my voice we gonna get out and vote...
we gonna give the world hope and put George Bush on a boat...
and if you in Florida make sure you chads are clear...
so George Bush cant enslave us another 4 years...
