Senoirs should go to DMV
I am sick of Senior citizens in their cars with the handicapped plates and the huge sunglasses driving 20mph down main streets, having no regard for people on motorcycles, and making the most overexaggerated turns ever...
When you reach 60 you should be re-tested for your license... and not a parking with cones, you should be taken out on the highway and main streets and be tested every 5 years after that untill you pass away..
and dont say im being too harsh all my 4 grandparents are still alive thank god, and they shoulnt be driving at all

I agree with u 100% bro. But 60 IMHO is to young to do that. It should be like 70+ And once u reach 80 u should have to go every year to be tested. Either that or just take their drivers licences away. Im tired of seeing old people on the news running people over cause they have no clue at that age....

When you can no longer see over the top of your steering wheel, it's time to hang it up. When you can no longer hear the siren RIGHT BEHIND YOU, it's time to start taking the bus. If it takes you longer than a second to decide which socks to wear, you should no longer be making decisions when driving.
And I agree with OG start testing again at 70 then every year after 80.

I agree . . . if ya can't drive safely, you shouldn't be endangering other people on the road. But, we can't just yank their driver licenses and deny them a way to get around town. Ya gotta have some sort of workable mass transit, maybe using unemployed folks to ferry elderly people around in their own cars, maybe form carpools.

Check this out
My girlfriends parents live in this town, and we go there all the time. From what I understand half the girls face was scraped off. Ive been in that parking lot and the asphalt is rough as hell. Pretty sad. I definately agree that older people need to take a frequent test to see if they are capable of driving. I live in San Diego and the congestion is getting bad on all the freeways. They have all these restrictions on teenagers here so I dont see why it shouldnt aply to older people who have ridiculous reaction times and impaired motor skills.

I disagree. So what if they are old, I say f*ck em, they can make their own arrangements like everyone else who doesn't have a driver's license does. People think DL's are some sort of right and not a 'license' which proves you, at least at the time of testing, can safely operate a motor vehicle to a given standard as well as know and understand the signs and rules of the road. It's a safety issue for everyone and there's no inherent bias in age discrimination becasue we will all be (or your dead and it's irrelevent) 60,70, 80.... one day. I will happily take a semi annual test starting when I'm 60. Too many gray haired, 1/2 senile Magoo's on the road today IMO.
