The documents were produced with a modern word processor.

The following link is a hi-res overlay of the original documents and the same documents typed in Microsoft Word with an 12 point Times New Roman font.

For those of you that think that old typewriters are capable of reproducing said documents read:

There's a $10,000 reward for the first person to accurately reproduce these documents on any circa 1971 typewriter.

I read an article in yesterday's (Sep 15) Dallas Morning News quoting the secretary who typed these things (she's 82 now) saying the Olympus typewriter she had at the time could do it . . . said it even had a th superscript key. She said she recalls the flap over Bush, and said yah, he was trying to weasel out from the Guard early . . .

I beleive the content of the documents is probably truthful. As far as reproducing these documents, I am not going to take an 82 year old womans word over the experts and my own (I've studied type-setting).

And her statments have been refuted by people in the guard at that time. Furthermore, she was not a personal secretary but a secretary to the division. She would'nt have had access to information pertaining to this. Furthermore, this man would of had to be lying to the Gaurd, the U.S., his wife, and his son, but tell the "truth" to this supposed personal secretary in order for these statments to carry validity. CBS ****ed up plain and simple. Rather is a biased liberal with an agenda. He proved that when he ran that bogus "documentary" in 1987 about vietnam vets slaughtering thousands in cold blood. He gathered eight vets for witnesses who were later found out to be lying. One was never even in vietnam.

This was looked over by two experts hired by CBS who expressed concern that hese were forged and they were not taken seriously. Not possible flaws, but 5 flaws found. BLinded by his own agenda, rather went with a bogus story. Now, he's seen on national TV expressing the desire to break the sotry if in fact they are forged. News flash Rather, the story broke a week ago The only question now is.......Who is the source. Which won't see the light of day
