Do U Blame The Religion Or The Followers ?
just to see how many of u think religion makes ppl BAD or people make religion look bad ........... this can be the case with Muslims , Christians & jews ????????? so FLAME ON !!!

I blame the followers. I think the violent fanatics would be violent even without the religion. They would just invent some other reason to justify slaughter of inocent people.

The followers. Islam is a perfect example of that........a religion that is so devoted to peace and tolerance could not look evil were it not for certain "follwers." I hesitate to consider them follwers as they don't follow the doctrine, they just claim they do. Not to get all Christian on anyone, but I think there is a part in the Bible that goes something like "They draw near to me with their mouths, but not with their hearts." I think that pretty much sums up why any members of certain religions appear to be trouble makers, their hearts are not in it.
Bad people and Good people come from all different backgrounds and religions.

Zealots, fanatics, and extremists exist in every culture. They pervert religion to give lagitimacy to there goals.
That said, There are also countless cases of representitives of religion such as Ultra orthodox Rabis, Imams, and preists who use there place of respect from which to spread there personal views and goals as well.

i think any religion at its core is a beautiful thing. i also think that they all have been so warped and twisted by man that for the most part what is left is perverse and sickening. murders between jews and muslims, catholics killing in the name of good. i would be ashamed to claim affiliation to any of them.

Yeah......look at at the Catholic and Protestant TERRORISTS in Ireland.......terrorism isn't solely a radical Islamic problem......look at the terrorism performed by right wing anti-abortionists......focusing on the AL Qaida etc. is just the in thing right now.....
Bush's excuse for a power grab......fascist pig

I See your point but must disagree.
Every civilized nation on the planet has felt the touch of Islamist terror. I don't think you can put the Irish, or anti abortion folks in that same category. I don't remember hearing of an airline, restaurant, hotel ,or busload of civilians being blown up in the name of anti abortion.
Personally I thank Bush every day for being a strong leader who does the right thing, regardless of criticism.

Honestly, its beyond the religions or the followers. As you know, I believe all other religions are of the great deciever, Lucifer. And thus, he has decieved so many people and given religions that 'make sense' or appeal to certain people, thus he has followers, taking away from the true God. Whether its a peaceful religion, or a non peacful, all the same if its not worshipping the true God.

Im not familiar with the term 'luciferian'. In my post, I didnt mean people pretend to be 'angels of light....but are really children of the devil.' (i dont know if that was how you interpretted my post or if you were adding your opinions to it). I simply believe the devil has truly tricked people into believing their religion is the true religion. Not that they are truly evil and are leading people to hell by acting innocent.
This will probably be my last post for 2 weeks, so ill look this up upon my return.
