Israeli officer arrested!
JERUSALEM (AFP) - An Israeli army officer who allegedly emptied his gun into an already dead Palestinian schoolgirl was arrested by military police on suspicion that he had given false testimony. "The company commander was arrested tonight by the military police and is under investigation," the army said in a statement. It said an investigation by the military police "has raised suspicions that the version of events given by the company commander was false." The unnamed officer had been cleared in an earlier preliminary inquiry over the shooting of 13-year-old Iman al-Hams on October 5 in the southern Gaza town of Rafah on suspicion she was carrying explosives in her school satchel. According to a fellow soldier, the commander then fired into the girl's body several times. The body was riddled with 20 bullets, including five in the head, the doctor who examined it told AFP.

That's interesting. Just the other day some of you (maybe you included) where here bashing the justice system in the IDF. Turns out investigation never really stopped, even when he was released.

I 'knew' his story was complete bull****. I'm glad to see that they are taking it seriously. Hope is restored.

Dont worry he will be released again, free of all charges.

Yeah....he would be charged only if he emptied 3 or more clips into the lifeless body.
