Yasser Arafat Brigades call for revenge on the killing of Arafat.
PS -I dont belive this, but alot of people do
GAZA (Nov. 12) - Militants convinced Israel poisoned Yasser Arafat vowed revenge attacks on the Jewish state and warned the new Palestinian leadership against any compromise as Arafat was brought home for burial on Friday.
The suspicions of poisoning were also widespread at mosques and rallies despite assurances to the contrary from Arafat's successors, a reflection of the popular trust they lack and the rejection by many Palestinians of a soft line on Israel.
Calls for attacks also clouded hopes of a revival in Middle East peacemaking now Arafat has left the scene.
"We will respond to the assassination of the leader and symbol by striking the depth of the Israeli entity," said a statement from a newly named armed group, the Yasser Arafat Brigades, part of the ex-guerrilla leader's Fatah faction.
"We strongly warn anyone who would try to bargain over our cause," the group said.
Arafat was buried at his old headquarters in the West Bank amid chaotic scenes.
Foreign Minister Nabil Shaath said French doctors, who treated Arafat at the Paris hospital where he was declared dead on Thursday, had categorically ruled out poisoning as a cause of death -- though his illness is still a mystery.
But many Palestinians, including all the main armed factions, believe he was poisoned. They accuse relative moderates who have taken Arafat's powers of being afraid to offend Israel because they want to restart talks.
"We smell the Jewish poison," said preacher Ibrahim Mderes at the main mosque in Gaza City. "We demand that the leadership give us the truth. We know the truth."
Islamic Jihad and the kindred Hamas militant group, behind suicide bombings and shootings that have killed hundreds of Israelis during a four-year-old uprising, both say they believe Arafat was killed and have vowed revenge.
If acted on, the calls for bloodshed could quickly dampen optimism in the United States and European countries that there is new hope for talks after Arafat, who had been labelled an obstacle to peace by Washington.
Israel has said it sees a possible turning point in the Middle East, but only if the Palestinians manage to rein in the armed factions.
Political analysts say that could be more difficult for the new Palestinian Authority leaders than for Arafat -- who had the charisma and standing established during four decades of fighting for a state.
The lack of popular acceptance may make that harder still.
"Do they think the people are stupid," said Hajj Menaem in Gaza City. "What kind of a sickness is it that was never diagnosed? The Authority practised a poisoning of our minds while Arafat was in hospital."

Looks like they're trying to cut the peace talks off before they even get a chance to get started.

The suicide bombers are like a business...their stocks go down if they have no-one to bomb, now that Aafat passed the majority viewpoint in the arab world is to try to calm things down and look at more peace talks and a new page in history.....
If things do become more peaceful then all the militia and suicide bombers will have to do the one thing they never thought it would come down to.....FIND NORMAL JOBS!!
Thats why they have to keep the violence going on.
