Since these demonstrations seem to be working well and is cheered in the West...
I wonder if that -
When Chechan civilians protest will Russian troops get out of Chechnya.
I wonder if that when Palestianian civilians protest will Israeli troops get out of Palestine.
I wonder if Iraqi civilians protest, will US troops get out of Iraq.
I wonder if Afghani people protest, will NATO troops get out of Afghanistan.
I wonder if Syrian and Lebanese people protest, I wonder if Israel gets out of Shebba Farms.

Then we will all join arm and arm and sing "we are the world".
If I protest peacefully at my bedroom door, will I get laid??? lol

But to withdraw and leave behind the mess they've made!, wouldn't Bush just love to pull that stunt!.
You want the Taliban back in Afghanistan?. I think not.
No such country as Palestine, if your refering to the Gaza and West bank, I believe if the new palestinian president is allowed to bring peace Israel will withdraw. But first Israel has to defeat Hamas in Gaza and give the new P.A. some authority there.
Oh, the Shebaa farms, you know nothing about them, just like I know nothing about Chechenya, so its hard to debate them with you. But the UN are satisfied that under resolutions 425 and 426 Israel has withdraw to its borders, recognising the Shebaa Farms as Israeli. I was actually there, on the ground in South Lebanon when resolutions 425 and 426 were complied with.

I absolutly beleive that bloodless resolution to political problems are posible and do work, and there are many examples. The monkey wrench in the machine is when you add militant religious fanatics into the mix.
