My opinion about the USA foreign policy
In my opinion the USA cannot act without taking into consideration the concerns and needs of other nations in its foreign policy, it cannot act like its the dominating king and everyone else is following this king or getting beaten by him. And even though USA is enjoying dominance in the foreign policy it should train itself on a long range strategy in the international relations.
Americans should also focus more on the foreign policy because it was neglected in the past three presidential campaigns, showing that the American people don't take any interest in, or not bothering to do anything about foreign affairs and that the congress is so busy in the political interference and military involvement in other countries. Plus the political leaders and the foreign policy specialists in the United States should have a good philosophy and historic background if not they will fail to project good political and global strategies.
USA should study and understand very well each part of the world even if its complex and it should make attention to all the regional powers in this part not just judging a regional power by its relationship to the USA. The USA should not substitute or erase the role of a regional power and take its place especially in the negotiations between the Koreans, or India and Pakistan. The USA before formulating any foreign policy should study the historic context of this policy and it should know and recognize the difference in culture between its foreign policy and the others.
The USA should also adopt a foreign policy that only serves its own interests without harassing other countries and it should not be based on the media or lobbies inside the country.

But he's right this admin acts like a schoolyard bully with a crybaby attitude!
ex: two years ago when canada refused to support the invasion of Iraq, Bush whinned and bitched and personally signed the cancellation of helicopters for the Marines, 800 millions lost and 400 jobs lost (I know this happened at 10min from my place).
