The video I posted was from the "Islamic Army in Iraq".

They are not Al Queda in Iraq. They have targeted soldiers.

And in the recent negotiations with the US, they were one of the groups that negotiated with the US.

No, it is a duty for any people to defend its country from foreign troops with weapons. I would expect the same of Americans if some foreign country attacked America.

The US should stop its attacks, and the fighters will leave.

i know they are not al Queda, and i understand them wanting us gone, believe me i didnt want to be there anymore than they want us there, but as long as these groups keep resisting, we will still be there, it will be just like vietnam, and in the end there will no winner, just a bunch of Graves that didnt have to be

i understand, but what attacks should we stop we only attack when we are attacked, the rest of the time we are just driving around.

You make it seem like you are crusing around in a sports car. You are in a foreign country with weapons, occupying a foreign country.

How would you like it, if China invaded the US, and just drove around your country with its military vehicles.

i understand what u are saying, but we went there with those weapons to help those people, and we did, but we would not be firing are weapons if we were not fired upon, the ongoing resistance, only prolongs americas stay

do these people not understand that if they would just calm down a little they could all be very wealthy like kuwait, and america would be gone, but as soon as we leave it will just be worse, there will be a very big civil war i believe

Just watched the video. Everything in the video is true. Americans know it, but are too arrogant to admit it.

If a person belives America spent so much money, and wasted so many lives to help the Iraqi people. The person is either too gullible, or has too innocent of a soul.

America and Britain will never understand the fight in a risen people, they'll never understand the sense of injustice to its people from an foreign invader. I posted this song before, its about an Irish man locked away in a British prison, and about his feelings for his land and those who've invaded it.

Oh my name is Joe McDonnell
    From Belfast town I came
That city I will never see again
For in the town of Belfast
    I spent many happy days
And I loved that town in oh so many ways
For it's there I spent my childhood
And found for me a wife
I then set out to make for her a life
Oh but all my young ambition
    Met with bitterness and hate
I soon found myself inside a prison gate

And you dare to call me a terrorist
While you look down your gun
When I think of all the deeds that you have done -
    You have plundered many nations
    Divided many lands
    You have terrorized their people
You ruled with an iron hand
And you brought this reign of terror to my land

    Through the many months internment
In the Maidstone and the Maze
I thought about my land throughout those days
    Why my country was divided
Why I was now in jail
Imprisoned without crime or without trial
And though I love my country
I am not a bitter man
I've seen cruelty and injustice at first hand
    And so one faithful morning
    I shook bold freedom's hand
For right or wrong I tried to free my land

    Then one cold October's morning
I was trapped in the lion's den
And I found myself in prison once again
I was committed to the H-Blocks
    For fourteen years or more
On the "blanket" the conditions they were poor
Then a hunger strike we did commence
    For the dignity of man
But it seemed to me that no one gave a ****
Oh but now I am a saddened man
    I've watched my comrades die
If only people cared or wondered why

Oh may God shine on you, Bobby Sands
For the courage you have shown
May your glory and your fame be widely known
And Francis Hughes and Ray McCreesh
    Who died unselfishly
And Patsy O'Hara, and the next in line is me
And those who lie behind me
May your courage be the same
And I pray to god my life was not in vain

And though sad and bitter was the year of 1981
All was not lost, but it's still there to be won

No reason to worry about it happening to us. America could not be invaded and occupied like that...

It has been voiced, in many places, that the United States, founded as a peaceful and somewhat isolationist Republic has transformed herself over the last fifty years into an actively interventionist Empire that uses her military forces abroad to further the moneyed interests at home who control the Corporations that in turn pay for the elections of Congress and the Presidency.

Every empire in history has had to mask the true motives behind its conquest of other coutries. Imperial Rome, Byzantium, Napoleonic France, the British Empire, 20th Century America have all had invent altruistic motives in the popular press to deceive the folks at home. Working-class Americans (on the whole a peaceful, live-and-let-live, isolationist group) who will have to do most of the fighting and dying in the foreign wars cooked up by Haliburtin, Exxon, Monsanto, Union Carbide, G.E., etc. need to be told that the war they are being told to die in is actually to "spread democracy", or "liberate our allies." or what-have-you.

Empires are always sticklers for legality. There are always "vital american interests" to be defended. "local allies" who need defending (If there ARE no interests or allies then they will have to be invented.)

The Monroe Doctrine (perversely written not by Monroe but by John Quincy Adams) laid down the law that the Old Corrupt Powers Of Europe would be allowed no say in the future running of the fresh New World, basically: Europe... OUT! -Our hemisphere!" The other side of this doctrine said "and the United States won't mess around in the wars and colonial aspirations of Old Europe." We violated this when we threw ourselves into the First World War on the side of the Allies, and we have't looked back since. We are now the world's much deplored policeman, little loved abroad, bristling with weapons and not much envied.

Oh, how I miss the Old Republic we had before WWII.

"To become an empire is to go where all empires go."

but we went there with those weapons to help those people
no we didn't. the only rationale for our going to war was weapons of mass destruction. since none were found those who refused to admit an unjust war were desperately searching for something else to blame for our involvement. Not saying you personally but many American's as a whole are clinging to 'sadam was a bad man we went there to give them democracy' which is crap. American gov. doesn't care about spreading democracy, only going to war under that guise. American history not taught in classrooms proves that point to us.

America and Britain will never understand the fight in a risen people
Thats not true either. America became America because of the 'fight in a risen people.' Exactly why I don't understand how any American can think the war in Iraq is winnable. It's already lost, the only thing changing in Iraq is the body count.

I agree with that, thats why I don't think we should be over there. Trust me if someone invaded the US, you guys know you'd fight like a mofo to get em' out. Least I would.
